Those aged 18 to 29 years old on (and including) 17 May 2021 are currently being invited to register for their coronavirus vaccine. Those eligible to register for a vaccination online should meet all the following:

  • you are 18 to 29 years old (as of 17 May 2021)
  • you are registered with a GP surgery in Scotland
  • you’ve not already had your first COVID-19 vaccination

To register visit the NHS Vaccination Registration site. The registration service is available until 11 June 2021 and vaccination appointments will start from mid-June. If anyone you know is eligible but they don’t have access to the internet or a smartphone, they can still register for SMS and email updates by calling the national COVID-19 Vaccination Helpline on 0800 030 8013.

Once you have submitted your details, you’ll receive a text or email confirming that you’ve registered successfully and a second text or email with your appointment details in due course.

If you’re aged 30 and over you will not be able to self-register as these appointments are currently being processed. You’ll receive your blue envelope in the post.
