Where are we?
I have been working with our Operations team to find a solution to treat this entire route rather than just in part. I am pleased to confirm that as of last night, 15th December, this entire route is gritted and ploughed. We have updated the variable message signing at the site to remove the gritting warning. The messaging still includes a warning for a 3T weight limit which still applies.
What’s Next?
Works to uprate the weight capacity of the structure. For clarity, it is not the intention to keep this structure at the temporary 3T weight limit.
