Branshogle Bridge Update

Update from Stirling Council on the work to repair Branshogle Bridge.

Headlines:

The project has been delayed by 1 week. The new reopening date is the 12^th December

Where are we?

Kerbing is completed. There have been some unexpected obstructions which delayed the installation of the safety barriers. A solution has been found and additional ground works have commenced to ensure that the barriers are installed safely and are compliant with standards.

What’s Next?

Completion of essential ground works; 2^nd– 8^th December

Road Surfacing to begin 7^th Dec – 9^th December

Site clearance, road sweeping, new road markings, temporary lights set up;  10 -11^th December

Road will be reopened to traffic under 24/7 temporary traffic lights from 12th December as installation of barriers is completed.
