A temporary rest centre has been set up at Thornhill Primary School.

Around 350 properties in the area surrounding Callander remain without power following Storm Arwen and Stirling Council has established Thornhill Primary School as a rest centre to provide warmth, a hot drink and a chance to charge your phone.

The school will be open to all from 5pm to 10pm tonight (Tue 30th) and tomorrow (Wed 1st).

McLaren Leisure Centre is also offering welfare support tonight and from 7.30am again tomorrow.

If you or someone you know is still without power, please call SSEN on 105 for help with respite or accommodation support.
