Many of you may not know that we have a defibrillator outside the Reading Room in the village. It’s a small device that can be used to treat someone who has suffered a heart attack and can often make the difference between life and death.
Sadly, our defibrillator is in a state of disrepair. It needs a new weather-proof cabinet and new batteries and pads when they run out. There is no funding in place to look after the defibrillator so we are looking to the community to see if we can all make a small contribution and make sure it is ready for any emergency.
Your support can make a life-saving difference. Your contribution, no matter the size, helps us create a safer village. Together, let’s empower our community with the tools needed to save lives. Share the love, share the cause. Every donation counts! Thank you for being a vital part of our mission to enhance the safety of our village.
Robert Clubb (Treasurer of the Community Council) has arranged a fundraiser on the GoFundMe platform and all money raised will go to Kippen Community Council. They will liaise with the good people from Trossachs Search and Rescue who will make sure our defibrillator is in good working order and ready to save lives.
