We’ve had notification from Action Fraud Alert of a scheme that may be of interest to some of our residents.
The National Trading Standards Scams Team has some call blocker units to give out free to vulnerable people across the UK. Individuals, their carers, or agencies can make referrals at the Friends Against Scams web site at www.FriendsAgainstScams.org.uk/callblocker. So long as they have been scammed or believe that they are at risk of being scammed they will qualify and will receive a call blocker and a visit from an installer to set it all up.
